We are living in Australia but still had an apartment in Roodepoort which was managed by an estate agency who were not doing their job properly. Eventually the tenant left the apartment in a terrible state without paying rent for three months and agency did nothing, I did not even know if the tenant was still there or not. I tried numerous times before to find an agent to help me but no one could. Then I found Leon's details on Private Property and liked his catchy line: 'Your home SOLD in 88 DAYS, Guaranteed or I WILL sell it for FREE.' I figured I had nothing to lose so I sent him an email.
Leon subsequently went to my apartment, arranged a locksmith, took photos & got quotes for the damage, hired someone to do the repairs at a reasonable cost, arranged an electrical inspection and got two purchase offers for the apartment before the renovations were completed. Also as it took a bit of time for me to organise the money from Australia he paid for the renovations out of his own pocket!
As I am so far away and due to numerous bad experiences it is difficult to know who to trust but Leon kept me up to date with phone calls and emails. The BEST service I've ever received!!!
