"No-service" finally ended when I decided to cancel the lease agreement with Just, pardon Just Letting. However, my ordeal continues as the contract stipulates that the deposit will be paid within 2 weeks of vacating. After a tussle over carpet cleaning, I agreed to have the meagre fee of R450-00 deducted from my deposit to pay towards the supposed dirty carpets. Ironically on the day that the current tenants were shown the property the carpets were professionally cleaned and the agent, Gwen, acknowledged that this would be noted on her out-spection sheet. When I called to confirm the repayment of my deposit Bonnie Joubert first had an issue of explaining what was happening and could not confirm when the money would be paid. Then she referred me to her manager Billy-Jean, who could not confirm that the carpets were in fact dirty. She did however acknowledged that she will make sure that the deposit is paid into my account by Friday 17 May 2013. NOTHING! After calls on Friday 17/05 and Monday 20/05- I'm still without my deposit. JUST not Letting! Careful before you use them, NO SERVICE, NO REPAIRS only EXCUSES! And no deposit paid back to you. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
