We were shocked by the appalling customer service of Just Letting in George last week.
After being told by the rental agent, Sansonett, after termination of the rental agreement that the deposit will be paid over by 3 July 2013, my mom followed-up with the principal agent at Just Letting on 4 July, explaining the urgency of why they needed the deposit, as my sister was flying to Korea on the 6th and needed the money, which was still not paid in.
The principal had the worst attitude and spoke in a very belittling manner. Also stating that the agent would never have said the 3rd..according to her, the money would only be deposited by the afternoon of the 5th.
It is now Monday, the 8th, and no money has been deposited yet.
What I find most shocking is that the rental contract clearly states at point 15.2.2 that the deposit AS WELL AS interest is payable to the tenant. The principal however stated that the interest on the deposit will be paid to the owner, as a show of gratitude for making his property available. WHAT? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! We will not be supporting this company anymore, needless to say. Appalling!
