I rented a home from Just Letting Montana and my contract expired on 28 February 2013. I informed Marinda that we will not be renewing the contract. On Wednesday 27 February 2013, I hired a company to wash the carpets for me (out of decency). Please note, the carpets where NOT washed when i moved in, AND i have the photos to prove this, as before I moved in, I had taken photos of all the faults in the house, including the carpets. It cost me R500 to get the carpets washed!
This morning I get my deposit back, they deducted R700 to "wash the carpets". I smsed Marinda to tell her I did get the carpets washed, and the marks where on the carpets when we moved in! Now she is not replying and I feel this is unacceptable as I feel I shouldn't pay for something that was wrong from the start. I have the photos to prove this. Just Letting are just people from there money. It is disgusting, how do you sleep at night?
