I went to Vredefort trafic department on 28/03/2013 to renew my drivers lisence. I was told that there was a problem with my finger prints and that my paperwork would be sent to Bloemfontein and to contact them in 3 weeks to find out the status. I have done that and phoned them on 12/04/2013 again to hear that they have never send my paperwork to Bloemfontein and must give another week and phone again. Today 22/04/2013 I have phoned and still nothing has been done. My drivers lisence is expirening end of May and I cannot be issued with a temporary lisence due to the problem with fingerprints. I am desperate to get this problem resolved because I need to be able to drive to get to work. But this is takeing a long time and is getting redicoulus as each time I have to take a days leave to find out what is happening.
