My husband and I both had to get our passports renewed. After hearing and reading many stories about going to Home Affairs, we were not very keen to go!
We left early Tuesday morning, 2 April 2013 & took our place in the line outside. The doors opened at 07:00, so in we went on time! It took us about 2 mins to fill in the form. We left Home Affairs at 07:16 the same morning, with our receipts in our hands to come collect our passports in 2 weeks time.
To our surprise, we both received a sms on Tuesday 9 April 2013 letting us know our passport are ready for collection. The next day I went to get them!
