I applied for a new id book last year the 19/10/2012. I am divorced so I want to go back on my maiden surname and I took out my second name and added the name I am known by. Ever since my application I never got an sms or phone stating how far my application is its`s been five months now I dont even know what to think. I need my new id as I have so much changes to do. I think the department of home affairs is unproffessional and yet I paid R280.
