Yesterday I went home to find my water service cut-off. I queried this at the Booysens offices and was told that my previous agreement with them had been cancelled.
I was not notified of this and received my monthly statement as normal.
WHat a huge inconvenience because seemingly their internal departments dont communicate with each other.
this is typical, i expect no better of City Power. I mean i waited for a whole year for them to replace my faulty electricity meter.
Our problem in this country is that we want world class infrastructure and things, and yet our very basic customer service is non-existent. They always have an attitude as if -sorry your problem-not ours.
I am currently waiting for reconnection while repeatedly calling their department for reconnections since the morning.
