I logged acase with the Douglasdale police station on 27th November about a parent at my child's school that has been harrassing both myself and my 11 year old child, using vulgar languages, i was told that i need to go to the randburg court and get a protection order which i did and was turned down and told go back to the police station, i received a call ONCE from a constable Mabasha who was assigned to the case and promised to provide feedback. he never called me again as i have to constantly call him and find out on the status of the case. everytime i call him he promises that he will come back to me and never does. it has now been a month and nothing has been resolved. i fear that time is passing and with school opening soon, my child might be in danger as this harassement has been going on for @ years now. how can we as the public depend on the police to protect our children when the SAP cannot provide the protection they preech about
