On Saturday morning at around 05:30am I woke up to find that my car that was parked outside the house at my mother's place has been broken into. I then called the local police to report the matter at around 05:48 and the officers on duty took my details and promised to send someone to the crime scene. i waited and waited and no-one showed up and then I decided to call the police station again at around 08:22 am only tpo find it was another shift and they had no idea or any informastion about the matter reported. It was identified the night shift officers didnt put anything in writing as i presented my case to them. i then had to give out my details again so that they can send police officers to attend my case. I am not happy with the way the officers behaved, thinking about what if it was a matter of life and death... and the fact that they told me that theres only one car at the station and they had so many cases that were reported in the evening... however they didnt disclose how many cases were reported or when will they arrive to attend my case whereas govenrment practices "batho-pele principles" which includes transparency and access to information.
