I have been to the Sophiatown Police Station for the second time this year to get case numbers for an accident and a. Unfortunately, I have to deal with this station as it is representative of my area. However, I will not be going there ever again as the people in the service centre have such an attitude towards the public - it is utterly disgusting. They do not want to open cases, use their 'positions' of power to lord it over the people, and are generally rude, cheeky and very unfriendly. We are all tax payers and our money pays for their salaries, but they do not deem themselves fit to actually 'serve' - as is part of their job profile. I left and went to Brixton Police Station and what a welcome change - friendly police officers, who are competent and want to help and assist. That is the one I will in future be going to. Sophiatown is pathetic.
