For the past three days from just before 12:00 midday we have been having power cuts and the electricity only returns after 21:00. We have been constantly calling their call centre who always log calls and promise a response within 4 hours. Their technicians call and tell you the power has been restored while you're sitting in the dark. When you catch them out, suddenly the problem has not been properly resolved and they won't get back to you from that point. I don't mind City Power carrying scheduled repairs on their transformers but my area is not on any of the listed areas for repairs. We have food stuff which should stay refrigerated and for three days our fridges are defrosting for about 10 hours.
It seems like every government department is full of incompetent people that are slowly sending us back to the dark ages! Could someone competent please assist with this matter, we pay for the electricity but everyday we must sit in the dark for no apparent reason.
