My pre-paid electric meter has stopped crediting my account. I cannot add units to it. I phone Ekurhuleni on Monday 11 November and was assured they would take care of it. I phoned back on Thursday (14th), Friday (15th), Monday (18th), Tuesday (19th) and Wednesday (20th) and each time was assured they would take care of it. On Tuesday I also contacted their website and lodged a complaint with no response. On Wednesday I asked to speak with a supervisor who was out to lunch. I was assured he would phone me back but I got no return call. I'm running out of electricity and no one at the municipality seems to care. They seem happy to take our money but unwilling to give us service for it. Please, all I want is my meter fixed!
