I am writing this letter out of utter desperation, taking into consideration that my plight has been that of the almost two years applying for an identity document for my wife, and this i spart of our ordeal.
This must be a letter that should have been written a long time ago and probably by the whole of the Province Western Cape when taking into consideration the amount of, Lack of skill or unprofessionalism citizens of the Republic of Cape Town must experience on a day to day basis". I write this as a Bonafide capetonian, Calvin Richard van Schalkwyk Identity number 7009015202082.
I simply cannot fathom the lack of discretion, professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness all adjectives of which is not to be found at your Home Affairs office in Cape Town. Today 01.04.2011, was such a day. In our desperation and utter desperation we contacted the Department of Home affairs again in writing and after weeks received an e-mail from a Mr. Apleni the Director General of the Department who assured me the issue at hand will be cleared on the close of business, four months ago. At this point in time I would refer to situations where non southafricans just would have to walk across. Help
