I have not noticed whenever I drive out of the Sandton Gautrain Station that the security always (i.e. invariably) stops Black drivers and asks them to switch off their engine. The other race (s) are given the nod to pass without being asked to stop and switch off the engine. This has been consistent in my case. May be others have a different experience. Gautrain has to be aware profiling takes place independently of the management line. Security are exercising their discretion. May be they feel they must stop thinking like Africans?
