I have been using the Gautrain from Pretoria to Johannesburg-and vice versa- since beginning of Jan 2013. I'm currently working for Media24-Product Manager-Magazines. The Gautrains are always on time, clean, comfortable, drivers always friendly- HOWEVER!! this morning I encountered the worst service from a Gautrain Security Officer -named Abel... My brother has been dropping me of at Hatfield Station every morning since January 2013-we enter at the parking area at the bottom, then usually drive to the top through exit -However this morning suddenly out of the blue-we were not allowed to drive to the top-Instruction from Abel..My question is-Why suddenly this morning-sudden changes after nearly 3 months???My brother had to drop me below, and I nearly missed my Train..This mentioned Gautrain Security Officer -Abel is very arrogant-I see him as one of the rudest, unprofessional, incompetent staff member of Gautrain Security!!! He has this "stuff you Sir" attitude. He need training in people skills, attitude, manners, client services-He must be trained again and learn how to handle the Public and to respect the Public at all times.
