My name is Dalmont Seaward living in the Netherlands, we brought a house in South Africa laste year near Wolmaransstad. In September last year we went to South Africa for our yearly holiday and in that time, I did registered at the local municipality for removal od domestic waste and basic water (we have 4 boreholes on the property) for incase the underground water wasn't enough.
2 month later we keep on receiving very high bills from the municipality for basic water 200 units per month (the max of basic water a municipality could charge you) for more than 4 months we kept getting bills with the same usage! the amount is now more than R 15 382, 75 while there's only one person living in that house.. we don't have a garden, animals!!
After a visit from my mother and sister at the municipality Neels told her, that he will make an appointment with Attie from the technical department to come and put in a new water meter, and then they will monitor the usage for 3 months and then they will credit our account.. I went back to the office this month because they didn't do anything till today..!! We want to pay for our service but we don't get any service from them!
