R75, 000 Bill from City of JOburg

Really, how DOES one incur a bill of R75, 000 in one month??? But if the notorious billing system at city of joburg is to be believed, quite easily... I have been up to date for months with my bills but this month, mysteriously an amount of R75, 000 was added to my account. One would have hoped that it would be possible to sort this out with a simple phone call but no, the call centre has been playing very calming music now for about 30 minutes. Well I do understand the calming music, clearly its needed, but 35 mins in and a very american accent informs me that I have not actually been put through to an operator but infact am ON HOLD!!! This is a new strategy I have not heard of... let the customer THINK they are waiting patiently holding for an operator, when infact you are just waiting for them to exhaust their own patience and hang up. City of Joburg, seriously, read every reference on your website to "world class" and then hang your head in shame!
