My electricity meter was broken by a City Power Technician on 20 April 2013. I have spent about 20 hours in the Rates Department at City of Joburg at the Randburg Civic Centre in the passed 12 months. I have not been helped.
Today Mongi April and her supervisor Naledi (no surname available) told me to sort out my problem at City Power Johannesburg in Randburg. When I got there I was told I have to get it done at City of Joburg.
The Municipal technician broke our meter, why do I have to run around sorting out the problem.
The reason I have to get the new meter (I would prefer pre-paid) is because I have been overcharged on estimates. I have been paying my bill correctly every single month. On 28 May I received a bill for R 12, 156.00 payable by 18 June 2013. I was told they are fixing errors City of Joburg made.
A year ago they fixed all the errors on my account, now they are making me pay again?
