I am so disturbed with the way the labour department in Mitchells Plain operates. This morning I had to go and sign for my first payment after working contract for the City of Cape Town and when I got there I was told that. My bank form was rejected because apparently my form wasn't filled in correct at the bank. I checked that bank form and everything was correct on it my I'd number and account number was correct because I double checked that form. I got another form and went back to my bank and had to give out taxi fair as I bank with the Post Office and there is no Post Office in the Town Centre. Now they tell me to come back in 4 days time because they need to process my claim. When I asked the one African lady to explain me she gave me attitude. This is very unacceptable. I am really taking this further because they shouls treat people with respect and explain to us the why's because now I have to give out more bus fair to go again in 4 days time.
