My Husband and I got married on the 27 December 2011. He had a been married before and finally got divorced in November 2011. Home affairs has yet to put update his status. According to the system he is still married to his ex. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!! Our pastor have send these paper work to Pretoria countless times. The call centre Finally call us back in June 2013 (after I kept on calling them). They told us to give the divorce degree and a copy of his ID (Certified), also to e-mail them a set. Since then we have been told that after two weeks it should be corrected. When we call after the two weeks, they say " It's not been updated man, but after two weeks we will call you". THEY NEVER CALL. When I call they say, "not updated yet mam, but after two weeks, we will call you". I got so tired ask and for the manager. But there is only a supervisor. Spoke to two (one of them was Jenny Jass). She promised me she will call me back, SHE NEVER DID. when I call her she is not available. It has been send to Pretoria over SEVEN TIMES, NOTHINGS BEEN DONE. JUST TO UPDATE HIS STATUS ON THE SYSTEM. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. WHAT IS PRETORIA DOING!!!
