On 15 November 2012 I handed in a certified copy of a divorce order and identity document at Roodepoort Home Affairs to be sent to Pretoria Home Affairs on 16 November 2012. They said that It would take 2 - 3 weeks to change the marital status to divorced. I checked on their website and via sms various times, but it was never changed. On 16 January 2013 I obtained a toll free number which I contacted and the lady advised me that it would take another 2 weeks to change the marital status. I checked again today, 31 January 2013, and the marital status is still not changed! What should I do?
