I have to stress that this has been a relentless struggle trying to get SARS to sort out this query, initially this query submerged due to early submission of my Tax return (understandable), additional documentation was requested of which I immediately submitted through
Efiling. I then contacted the SARS contact center to where I was told that the process of them dealing with this query would take 21 days from date of query this was at the beginning of July the 1st to be exact. On the 2nd July I received a text from SARS stating that I have been issued with at Statement of Account, in this Statement of account (attached) it states that SARS owes me a refund and that there is no audit request, when contacting the SARS contact centre I was told that my assessment has been audited and that the auditors had failed to remove a stopper from my account. Furthermore I was told that they would log a query and this will be seen to within 21 days, I accepted, I called in every two weeks after the 3rd and was told more or less the exact same thing Your 21 days are not up yet, please call back then. I call after the 21 days are up, just to find out that this stopper is still on my account. No
