Prepaid customers probably haven't realized that we are being ripped off with prepaid electricity. When you buy R100 electricity in the 1st week of the month you get 100 units, when you buy for that same R100 in the middle of the month you get less than 80 units, when you buy for that same R100 the last week of the month you get less than 70 units for that R100. Why do we NOT get the same amount of units for that R100 never mind when it is bought. Electricity is already so expensive and in Cape Town it was increased yet again from the 1st of July. This is a total rip off. I have phoned the call centre and they can't give me a answer as to why this is happening.
