I called the Electricity department (011)-375 5555 yesterday and today to ask them when would they re-connect us in Randpark Rif (Ridge). The normal period of reconnection is 72 hours apparently and when i asked if anything could be done to speed up the process as I had small children (on the property yesterday) and a frail old 70 year lady on the premises - SHE (didn't get her name) said I'm sorry there is nothing we can do as we've heard that story before. I am very disappointed in the way they can talk to the customer and THINK they can get away with it!! Now because I challenged her she will probably make us wait the full 72 hours!!
Despicable and disgusting to call themselves a call centre where is the customer service that we all deserve.
