We are very unhappy with the letter dated 15 April 2013 sent to us w.r.t feedback i.c.w our complaint i.r.o a dispute adjustment made on account. Been billed for X2 bins from the date of registration which was 02.05.2006 and adjustment has been granted from June 2010 only. We want to know why only from 2010 and not from registration date. The City of Cape Town has all the details of our account on their records. When we went to the Parow municipal office the lady who assisted us printed the letter from their system which confirmed the date from which the double deduction was paid by us.
In the letter dated 15.04.2013 they referred us to their Policy 18.104.22.168 which states as follows:
If the City also does not have any documented proof of the initial service, the adjustment will be made for the current plus two proceeding financial years.
Info to us in the letter: This is the final decision of the department. No further adjustment will be made to this account.
