City Of Johannesburg Municipality
New Account

We took occupation of our house on the 1st of February 2013. Papers were registered on the 09/03/2013 at the deeds office. Have a stamp from the City of Johannesburg to say they have received the papers.

I have been to a walk in centre not once but 4 times, only to be told that there is nothing on the system and we have to wait 8 weeks before anything can happen.

Yesterday i get home and i have a Pre-termination letter in my yard, not even in my post box it was thrown in my yard.

This morning my husband and i take time off from work to go to a walk in centre. a new account has been created. we NOW HAVE TO WAIT TILL JULY TO GET AN ACCOUNT.
I call the call centre they say the previous owners account has to be closed and then all the adjustments will take place. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THAT TO BE DONE AS THE CALL CENTRE SAY THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THERE AT THE WALK IN CENTRE.

All i need is for someone who is willing to di their JOB and get this sort out ASAP.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE...
