I hope my email finds you well.

I desperately need some assistance with regards to my application.
It is going toward a second year since my application for a permanent residence,
was introduced at home affairs and since I have been sent from pillar to post.
Finally today I called the home affairs department and I have been informed that,
All applications under SA Children have been put on hold because people have been abusing the system.
We did not get any notification of such and as to when this came into practice.

I have been with my partner who is a SA citizen for 10years, we have been married for 5 years and have two kids.

I fail to understand why I am being told, that my application has been put on hold after so long
and I should apply under a different category.

This as a result is having implications with my company and the banks threatening to freeze my accounts.

Your advise will be greatly appreciated.
