I went to the Benoni Traffic department to renew my car licence (disc) on the 27 March 2013. I paid with my cheque card for the transaction, a double debit (EFT) went off my account. I only picked this up two weeks later, I enquired with the traffic department and was told I have to come to their offices again. I went back with proof of double deduction, my card and ID book. The took all the documents they needed and they promised that the refund will be processed and money refunded back to me. Rudi called me a week later to tell me that I have to come inn and sign some forms for their auditing purposes of which I went back and signed those forms, two weeks went by I phoned this Rudi guy and asked him where is my money and he told me the is a problem on their side. Senior manager has to authorise the transaction, called him again a week later and he told me he was on holiday, but promised to phone immediately he gets back to work and he will pay back my money with interest from his own pocket (have that in recording). But to my shock today is the 9 May 2013 I still have not received my money. Now I need help on how am I going to get the whole money back with interest as promised.
