I wrote my commercial law exam in 06/2013. i got my results via sms initially which was wrong, i called in to query and i learnt that they registred me incorrectly as a full time student and provided incorrect marks to my assignment, i then got the correct marks & queried my marks for the written exam, i recieved an A for my assignment and i a low mark for the exam and therefore requested that a copy of the exam i worte be sent to me for revision so that i can contest the result and i was told further that they dont give out the papers to students unless they pay for it. this was never communicated to me whether in written or verbal and i was always under the impression that my fees covered all correspondance and support relating to my modules. my request to get a copy of my paper so that i could contest the result was refused. should i have agreed to ay the fee of R 350 to revise and i still wanted to have the paper remarked, i would have had to then pay a further R 350 for the remark.
as a private learning institution, they seem to have forgotten their purpose and what they stand for, this now seems like a rip off institute who will oly support students in return for money
