Faulty and Non Responsive Technicians

On Saturday night the electricity went out in my mothers home, just after 9PM and I have since been trying to reach the call-centre to update them and that we need a electrician as we are the only house on the street without electricity.
The call-centre for one has the longest waiting time for service and you stay on hold for so long, you would think that they are trying to tire you out and make you broke from airtime minutes spent.

I called a local electrician and upon inspection, he said that the problem was from the big electric box that supplies into the yard and not in the yard.

Secondly, when I was able to get through to call-centre early Monday morning I was given a reference number #2139778958 and since 11 am this morning I have been waiting for a technician to please come assist before all the food spoils in the fridge. It has been 3 days now.
I have followed up twice and still they say that the technician is on the way.
I need to know if there is a faster way to get assistance from City Power.
