Correct me if I am wrong, ruby games which everyone is aware that it is mostly attended by white people. In these rugby games there are no vehicles towed that are parked on public parking bays, people are allowed to bring their own alcohol, etc. However when there are soccer games which everyone is aware that the majority of the crowd attending this games are BLACK COMMUNITIES., we are treated like Hooligans. I'm sorry but that is just how I portray this in my own view. And I believe I am not the only one who experience this kind of treatment in Cape Town. I feel that last night people, the black community people were robbed by the GREEN POINT TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT... someone needs to stand up and say something, we soccer fans also want the same treatment the rugby and cricket fans are receiving in this CITY.
I was in Green Point for lunch i parked on the public parking space alongside the main road. After i had my lunch I went back to my vehicle to fetch my coat before the kaizer chiefs vs ajax game. I got to the vehicle and I had a R500 fine. I then proceeded to the game. After the game i find that my vehicle had been towed away to the green point traffic department.
