A year after moving I notice an additional fee on my Telkom account. I am informed by Telkom 2 charges are for my yellow pages entry and 2 charges are for the previous owner of the phone number.
When I query this telephonically with Trudon - I am then informed I need to need to send an email after a week of no response to my email - I call again and am informed they have not received it or can't find it and I need to fax it - which I do - another few days go by with no response.
Eventually I receive an email from Mr Vumelani Madlala requesting to quote him
"Please forward any Legal documentation confirming taking over the building & not the business to reverse charges on your Telkom SA account ""
I was not asked for this documentation before they billed me, now they request it to unbill me. In the meantime I am being billed in my own name AND that of the previous owner.
I have tried calling & emailing Vumi, I have sent copies of my lease and to no avail no one responds and I am unable to get these charges reversed.
How is it possible with so many complaints against this company they are still able to operate in this manner - It is a reflection on Telkom.
