I have advertised in Trudon's Durban White Pages for many years and Trudon has always assured me that I will maintain my White Pages centre planel page position as long as I continue to advertise. The advert cost is approximately R 1, 000.00 per month.
I was therefore dismayed to see my advert position taken by a new first-time advertiser in the most recent edition of the Durban Phone Book. On the 25th October 2012, I emailed my sales rep to query the placement, requesting a written response. I sent many reminders by email. She eventually replied on 12 November, advising she had been on leave, but failed to answer my question about placement. I again emailed Trudon to request that a manager contact be to explain the placement of my advert. On 25 January 2013 I was appointed a new sales rep without prior notice. I asked to have a manager contact me. I was advised that the manager had been off sick and would contact me. Again I followed up in February 2013.
My first written response regarding placement, arrived today on 3 June 2013 which again fails to address my placement question adequately. I will never renew with Trudon. I still await an adequate explanation.
