We stood in the queue at Brooklyn Square Post office on 28 April 2013 from 11:30 TO 11:59 for delivery of a package and a registered letter which took less than 60 seconds to complete. There are 6 teller counters of which only 3 were serviced. One of the three was busy with a single customer for the whole time while one other simply shut down her counter and left leaving only one open. The customers were already queuing outside the door. The branch manager was totally aware of the situation but had her ear to her cordless telephone for the whole time. She made NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER to get other staff members who were walking around behind the counter to come and assist the customers.
This is a regular occurrence and not the first time that this has happened. It is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE that such an INCOMPETENT, UNCARING and INEFFICIENT person should be allowed to manage such a busy post.office. Please replace her immediately. I have visual proof of this.
