I have been buying stationery for YEARS at Waltons! I am greatly disappointed by the quality of the A4 hard cover books in different quantities of pages! I don't mind paying the asking price but if I go to Checkers and CNA I get a better priced book and better paper quality then what option do I have but to complain? I purchased the Waltons books in the first week of January. I was assisted by a helpful and friendly lady... no complaints there! I did not check & never have checked the pages of any book I've bought over the years unless there is visible damage from the outside. This year was no different! My daughter went to school with the books & as she went to her various classes, books were identified for the respective subject & she began working in the books. When she brought them home to be covered I naturally opened them to cover them & saw the quality of the paper... creases, folds and general inferior paper! I was not going to be all finicky about one book... but on inspection 7 books of the 10 I bought had the same defects! What has changed? Come on Waltons... don't disappoint your loyal customers! Maybe Checkers & CNA are worthy of more support after all! Use it or lose it!
