I too have had an issue with back to school orders and not for the first time. Two years ago Walton's delivered one of my children's order short of 22 school books! Promises of delivery never materialized and I ended up having to buy another 22 books in order that he have them for first day of school. Of course on the first day of school they delivered his books so now I had more books than I needed! This year, Walton's back to school order for my 3 children amounted to R3612.00!!! My eldest's son's order was short delivered with two items. A pencil case and a set of DALA paints. Since the 23/10 I have called Walton's 9 times to rectify the short order. Promises of calling me back, needless to say never materialize. I have repeated the missing items to different people at least 6 times. Last week the order was finally delivered but no sign of the paint set instead I got a set of pencils! I am so completely fed up with the level of incompetence and the sheer and utter frustration in dealing with these people. The fact of the matter is that I paid for this stationery in September and three months later I am doing the run around to sort out the order.
