I have been trying to trace the whereabouts of some of my parcels and in at least two instances, it does not reflect on the post office's tracking system. Despite this I have proof of posting in both instances.
I requested a "missing mail" form today and was told that they do not have any copies at the Bromhof branch and that I can get some on Monday when the branch manager will be back. This is despite me, inter alia, having inquired several times at the said post office regarding the whereabouts of these items.
I wish to bring the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("the Act") to the attention of the post office with relation to the failure to provide advertised and paid for services. Johan Naude from SAPO Legal did contact me, but the situation still has not normalized some weeks on and I, the paying client, still has received no service for my payment made in some instances over a month ago.
Poor service!
