Good Morning. I have been receiving notices of final demands from the attorneys for my TV Licence. i have bought my TV in July 2010, i paid my 2nd payment of R250.00 on the 23/12/2011, there after i received a notice to pay and i did on the 13/09/12 for year 2012. I'm now again receiving calls, emails and smses of demands of R300.00 when asking reason why it is R300.00 not R250.00 as it is the payment per year, he told me my invoice date in May, when asking him how come as i bought TV and made 1st payment in July if it is 12 months, he told me he "doesn't know". i fail to understand why I'm receiving letters of demand already in March as they say the invoice date is in May and as far as i'm concerned it should be in July and my last statement (2) confirms the RENEWAL PERIOD of the 01/07/2012-30/06/2013. I will not PAY this TV licence till this is attended to and rectified.
