I bought a salon voucher for my sister in Cape Town via Groupon. She made an appintment with the lady to go to the salon today Thursday 17 October 2013. She works in Malmesbury and she cancelled a workshop to go to the salon as the voucher can only be used during the week. She got to the salon and there were no-one there, when she contacted the lady, she said that she was sick and could not do her hair and wanted to reschedule. My problem is that you can't cancell an appointment a few minutes before the actual appointment especially if the client is coming all the way from Malmesbury. This is very unprofessional, will never have a good word to say about this salon ever again, you can't treat people like this if you are in the service industry. When I tried to phone her, a guy picked up and told me that I have the wrong number, but this was the number displayed on the voucher, will wait now for Groupon to reimburse me.
