Several complaints and at least R1500.00 worth of frozen foods that have gone rotten and had to be thrown away and we're still stuck with NO electricity - it is exactly the fourth day since our power has been disrupted by lighting. Our block of flats and a few houses within West Village, Krugersdorp seems to be the only place who's electricity has as yet not been restored! We all have to buy our electricity and I find it extremely disgusting that the squatter camp across the road from us have power yet we're stuck without it night after night! My appliances have to be switched off at the plug to avoid it being fried by heavy power surges each time the electricity fails - we're stuck without power for 2-3 days every second week and this is now ridiculous! I throw away thousands of rands worth of food every month because of West Rand Power's incompetence! This issue needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY!!! Kindly please advise who will foot the bill for the groceries I've once again had to throw away, we honestly cannot afford it anymore!
