I went to the brow bar on Saturday to have my eyebrows waxed. I have had my eyebrows waxed for the last two years and I have NEVER experienced pain the way I did this time! My eyelids were left extremely swollen and with little blood blisters on them. I went back to the brow bar on Sunday and showed the manager, I was refunded my money but am left with bruised and blood blistered eyelids. I spoke to the manager and told her that the beauty therapist did not hold the skin taught when she ripped off the wax (you are supposed to do this to prevent excessive pulling of the skin and thus bruising). The manager admitted that the therapist WAS INDEED supposed to hold the skin taught. The manager insisted that if my eyes were bruised, the bruising would've been brown. I don't bruise brown, I bruise red and blue (like every human being on the planet). It's Monday and I STILL am red and swollen with little blood blisters. I told the manager that my belief is that if they caused damage, they must fix it... her answer was that she gave me my money back. What about the 2 days of stinging, burning and swelling?
