I would like to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with a facial I had at the Blue Route mall on Saturday. The actual massage part of the facial was fine, but I expect full extractions when I have a facial as part of the treatment. Not only do I still have extractions that need to happen, my skin is extremely dry after the treatment, which is very unusual. On top of that, I asked that my eye brows be tended to and explained, at length to my therapist, that I am wary of wax as I have been burned badly in the past due to my sensitive skin. Not only does she then proceed to use wax, but doesn't tidy my eyebrows very well afterwards. The skin around my eyebrows was very red and swollen after the wax, and now, a couple of days after the wax, there is evidence of damage to my skin.
I am extremely disappointed in this level of treatment, especially since I paid close to R500 for this. My skin feels dry in parts and congested in others, and my eyebrows are still not tidied up. For a franchise of Sorbet's caliber, I expected more.
