I closed my SABC TV License account in 2007 and continued to receive invoices. It took until 2012 for someone to get back to me about the closing of the account and they simply asked for an affidavit to have the account closed which was duly sent on the 29 March 2012.
I am still receiving license renewal invoices, threats to pay or else and reminders for a TV I do no own, an address I no longer live in and no one EVER gets back to you on it.
The call center agents ARE USELESS and just pass you from pillar to post. How many other women out there have this issue when they move, change name and/or leave the country. PATHETIC!!
