Good day, how my wedding plans were ruined: on 06.06.012 I paid R5000 to Ou de meuele in Oudtshoorn to confirm my wedding date, after several telephonic conversation with Me Spies organising my wedding. I received an e-mial stating convermation of my wedding date. on 04.01.013 I phoned for contact numbers to do my decor and I was informed it will be sent via e-mail to me and to my rude awakening on the 06.01.013 I received a call that there is a double booking on my wedding date, further more I was informed that the other bride has paid R20 000, signed a contract, they can accommodate me for the Monday I was not informed of a contract by Me spies and I was informed I can pay any amount to confirm my date and pay of the rest of the money as we go along I refused to settle for the Monday as my wedding date is special to me, so they cancelled my date, there was no space to compromise I had to except the Monday or except my deposit back. I received my deposit back of the venue but lost two other deposits. They offered my lost deposits if I supplied my receits. Reciets supplied weeks later no payback was received.! Warning, if the day is special avoid Ou de Meule!
