It came to our attention late last year that Xerox had negligently handed over stock (cartridges) to someone posing as a partner in Rammase Trading and Construction. This came to light when a Xerox statement was mailed to Rammase, stating that Rammase owed them R28 180. We phoned a lady by the name of Lyzette in accounts, to explain that Rammase had not ordered or collected the said cartridges from Xerox. She advised us to open a case of with the polce, which we promptly did on October 29 2012 at Primrose Police Station. We faxed her the details of the case and the affidavit drawn at the police station. She promise to deal with the matter and keep us updated about the progress of the case. After several calls trying to contact her again, to no avail, we came into contact with Shannon, who also asked for details of the case. Shannon then promised they would contact us by the end of February. Then suddenly, on January 31, we received summons demanding payment of the said amount.
