A happy Gautrain user who changed to a very unhappy one.

Bombela took over a month to inform me that I had 'tailgated' after I had just paid R904 for the cheaper travel pass. What's that I cry??? Why not tell me as soon as I committed this horrendous crime! Card witheld.

On rushing thru the turnstiles for whatever reason, be it a late for a meeting/flight, you are unknowingly heading for blacklisting. 'Tailgating' to Bombela it's an offence & they could reduce considerably if only they would put a warning on the turnstile to "validate your card or else!!! "

Simply touch the Gold Card to the ticket reader on the fare-gate and wait for the green light "when rushing thru people don't always think clearly - just thinking of meetings, kids, divorces, house moves, parents passing away, catch a plane ..many things" and beeping sound (I have 40% hearing and do not hear the beep) to indicate validation. Pass through the glass barrier, board the train, sit back and relax! Upon leaving the train, touch the card to the ticket reader at the fare-gate, wait for validation
