After 30 days my package that was sent from the coast is finally at the Tswane mail centre, awaiting distribution-but alas, it will remain in limbo as there is a strike currently in progress. Call centre staff are helpful (after they answer 20 minutes later), but I was told there is nothing that can be done-I just have to wait. Eventually the package should make it's way to me, roughly 20 days late for the recipient of my present.
Thanks SAPO, you have shown me how little you care about me, all I can do is take my business to the next available courier service and be assured that my packages arrive. Hopefully one day there will ONLY be PRIVATE COURIER services in SA, and be assured-I will advice EVERYONE I DEAL WITH TO AVOID the South African Postal Service. Maybe the word service should be removed from your company name, as service is not what I have received.
