A parcel was sent to my home address from Durban. I was informed that I could expect it to be delivered on Friday 31 January 2014. However, it was not delivered.
When I phoned UTI after 08:00 on Monday morning 03 February, they claimed that they attempted to deliver the parcel on Friday. I specifically took the day off to receive the parcel on Friday. The gate intercom works. My cell number is written on the waybill. Nobody rang the bell and nobody phoned. Nobody phoned the sender. There was no attempt to deliver as claimed. I wasted a day.
When I complained telephonically this morning, and stressed how urgently I need the parcel, the operator promised to get back to me. That has not happened.
This company's customer service is bad and it is clear that they will not attempt to rectify their own -up.
My recommendation - don't waste your money with them.
