Out of box failure TATA SUPERACE SAGA

In late Aug 2013 we bought a TATA superace 1.4 diesel from TATA Northcoast in Natal.
From day one the gearbox was faulty.
They collected the vehicle a few days after delivery and tried to "fix" it. Did not even have 2000km on the clock. Then proceeded to drive out an entire tank of diesel and didn't replace it.
Then gearbox one went. Had to sit without a car for a week, because their poor service and contract does not allow for a loan vehicle.
Sep 2013. Another new gearbox.
Nov 2013. Another new gearbox.
Jan 2014. Another new gearbox.
We had enough and now they are offering R85000-00 for a vehicle that we paid R135000-00 plus finance.
Told if we don't want the offer, go to the ombudsman and sort if out with the dealer???

Wow. We have a 6 month old, obviously defective vehicle that we had use of for 4.5 months as the rest of the time the vehicle was standing in the workshop?

unbelievably bad vibe from TATA head office I have asked 10 times now for the MD's number and they just ignore me.

Pathetic service.
